Glazed Pennsylvania Redware Bowl, attributed to Speese & Son, Gettysburg, PA, second half 19th century, tapered bowl with rounded rim, the interior covered in a lead glaze over a bright orange ground. Incised "15" on underside. Provenance: Bought directly from Speese descendants in Gettysburg. Wear to interior. Rim chip and two small base chips. H 4 1/2" ; Diameter 12 1/4".
