Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring stenciled flourishes, the number "2", and freehand stripes. Two chips to underside of rim. Wear to interior of rim. Small stone ping at base on reverse. Two overfired spots to front.
