Palatine, WV Stenciled Stoneware Wax Sealer, circa 1875, cylindrical form with wide canning rim, featuring the cobalt stenciling "RICHEY & HAMILTON / PALATINE / W.VA." along with various small stenciled flourishes. Two minor base chips. Long in-the-firing contact mark to rim.
