Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Double Bird Decoration, Stamped "S HART / FULTON," New York State origin, circa 1860, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and rounded spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of crossed birds accented with cobalt spots. Slip-trailed "3" to left of birds. As-made condition with an in-the-firing contact mark and line to top of spout and a salt drip to reverse. H 15".
