Scarce Small-Sized Stoneware Canning Jar with Graduated Swag Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled midsection and shoulder, its flared rim with wax sealer interior, the front decorated with pairs of graduated cobalt swags. Desirable size and decoration. Provenance: Tom McCandless Collection, Hopewell, NJ. Rim chips. H 6 1/8".
