Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Leaf Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1870, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and tooled spout, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt leaf design accented with cobalt dots. Two spout chips. Two small flakes to reverse. Traces of water glass staining to surface. H 14 5/8".
