Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Churn, Stamped "OTTMAN BROS / & CO / FORT EDWARD, NY," circa 1880, semi-ovoid churn with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated with stylized slip-trailed floral design. Includes Albany slip glazed lid. Churn with two 1 3/4" faint Y-shaped lines, which do not extend through to interior. A few minor base chips. Two small rim chips. Expected wear on interior where lid sits. Lid with chips. H (of churn only) 15".
