Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON / & CO. / GREENSBORO / PA.," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, cobalt-decorated with James Hamilton maker's stenciling along with a bold stenciled 2 with flourishes at the base. Two minor rim chips and wear to top of rim. H 11 3/4".
