"HAMILTON & JONES" Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Shield Decoration, Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated with a large stenciled shield containing the words "HAMILTON & / JONES / MANUFACTURERS / GREENSBORO / PA." Shield is underscored by wreath-like stenciling. As-made condition with light fry to cobalt. H 10".
