One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Stenciled "WILLIAMS & REPPERT. / GREENSBORO. PA," circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with tall, flaring collar, the belly featuring Williams & Reppert maker's stenciling surrounding a stenciled vine motif. Freehand dash decoration to collar and spout and stripe decoration to body. A 1" flake to interior of rim and adjacent 1/2" chip to exterior of rim. A small piece of adhered clay to proper right of side of pitcher's spout. H 11 1/2".
