Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "M. TYLER & CO / ALBANY," NY State origin, circa 1825, cylindrical jar with rounded and tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated with a curved-stem floral motif. Garland motif to shoulder. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Spider crack on underside, forming a thin 2" crack at base. Two minor chips to underside at edge. Some staining to surface. Some in-the-firing bubbling to clay. H 13".
