Unusual Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Coggled Hearts Decoration, probably NJ, circa 1820, ovoid jar with tall collar embellished with a repeating horizontal design of coggled hearts. Salt-glazed exterior and Albany-slip-glazed interior. A small chip to interior of rim. A 1 1/2" Y-shaped surface line to exterior, not visible on interior. In-the-firing chipping to bottom edge. H 7 3/8".
