One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "J.E. ENEIX . / NEW GENEVA / PA," circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring J.E. Eneix maker's stenciling below a stenciled vine with berries and a thistle-like flower. An in-the-firing 1 7/8" flake to bottom edge. Otherwise excellent condition with a few small in-the-firing pings and small glazed-over dent to front. H 10 1/4".
