Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Stenciled "NEW GENEVA POTTERY," Pennsylvania origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled midsection and shoulder, the rim with wax sealer interior, the front decorated with diagonal "NEW GENEVA POTTERY" stenciling flanked by graduated wavy stripes. A minor chip to exterior of rim, and a few minor and small chips to interior of rim and inner wax sealer rim. Two minor nicks to front. Light base wear. H 9 1/4".
