Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "SEYMOUR & BOSWORTH / HARTFORD," CT origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with flared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt design of a crested bird with spotted breast. Significant restoration to rim on front. Minor 1/2" crack to end of handle. 1/2" in-the-firing separation to rim on reverse. Small iron ping to side of rim.
