One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, attributed to Samuel Irvine, Newville, PA, circa 1865, ovoid jug with tooled spout, decorated with a brushed stylized floral design to the front and a brushed highlight to the spout. Shallow glazed-over base flake with a short line extending through it. A shallow spout chip.
