One-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "BRADY & RYAN / ELLENVILLE, NY," circa 1885, cylindrical crock with lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of a fan-tailed bird perched on a stylized branch with dotted trails. Two poorly-restored rim chips. Otherwise excellent condition.
