Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Double Bird Decoration, Stamped "BRADY & RYAN / ELLENVILLE. N.Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical crock with lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of two crested birds with spotted wings, perched in crossed branches. Restoration to rim and large area above right bird on front. Faint hairline visible through body of right bird. Chips to interior of rim, the largest measuring 5/8". A few gray-colored, in-the-firing spots to surface.
