Six-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to E. Fowler, Beaver, PA, circa 1870, ovoid jar with tooled midsection and shoulder, rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed looping vine design accented with dashes. Slip-trailed "6" above. Fry to cobalt. Minor glazed-over base chip. Minor rim chip.
