One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / MANUFACTURERS / GREENSBORO. PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with Hamilton & Jones maker's stenciling within a scrolled pattern, including stenciled accents at the center and edge. Brushed freehand cobalt stripes above and below. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
