Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cake Crock, Stamped "H.N. BALLARD / BURLINGTON, VT.," circa 1860, cylindrical crock with flattened rim and applied lug handles, decorated with two fan-shaped flowers embellished with long curling stamens. Excellent condition with a small stone ping near base and some very minor flakes to left side at base.
