Two-Gallon Manganese-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stamped "S. BELL & SON / STRASBURG," circa 1890, cylindrical crock with squared rim and tooled shoulder, decorated with a series of brushed manganese swags around the shoulder. Significant number of hairlines on one side. Chip on interior of rim. Wear and minor nicks to exterior of rim. Shallow base chip. 1 1/4" long black-painted area to rim. H 12".
