Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "E. & L. P. NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT.," circa 1870, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and rounded spout decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt foliate design. Poor, amateur restoration to missing handle. Line in spout. Spout nicks. Strip of wear to right side. H 15 1/2".
