Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Double Bird Decoration, Stamped "S. HART / FULTON," New York State origin, circa 1860, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded spout, decorated with two slip-trailed birds with crossed bodies accented with spots. Slip-trailed "2" with flourish to the left of decoration. Fry to cobalt. Two glazed-over stone pings on reverse. Y-shaped hairline at shoulder. H 13".
