Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Large Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "BURGER & LANG / ROCHESTER, N.Y.," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed flowering plant with shaded petals and leaves. One petal with cross-hatched slip-trailing on interior. Slip-trailed "6" to right of maker's mark. Light flaking with some restoration, including some small spots on front. Fully restored left handle. Some restoration to rim and a few base chips. H 14 1/2".
