Two Philadelphia Stoneware Advertising Jugs, American, late 19th or early 20th century, a brown-and-white jug with blue advertising, which reads "ADOLPH BERKOWITZ / IMPORTER & WHOLESALE / LIQUOR DEALER / 534 SOUTH STREET / PHILADELPHIA, PA.," paired with a cream-colored jug with blue-and-white bands, and dark blue advertising, which reads "HENRY K. WAMPOLE & CO. / MANUF'G. PHARMACISTS. / PHILADELPHIA, U.S.A.". Berkowitz jug with small spout chip and glazed-over base chip. Wampole jug with base chips. H (Of Wampole jug) 11".
