Two New York Stoneware Advertising Jugs, American, late 19th or early 20th century, two brown-and-white shoulder jugs, one with the advertising "THOS. E. MCLAUGHLIN / WHOLESALE LIQUORS / LITTLE FALLS N.Y." in blue, the second with "R.L. UTLEY & CO., / ROME, - N.Y." in black. Rome jug impressed "R.C.P.CO. AKRON. O / 1/2 GAL" on underside. Little Falls jug with two small rim chips, chip to base of handle, in-the-firing base chip, and an unglazed base flake, possibly in-the-firing. Rome jug with base chips on the reverse. H (of Little Falls jug) 8 1/2".
