Two Bristol Slip Glazed Stoneware Advertising Jugs, American, late 19th or early 20th century, one featuring the advertising "BENJ. KRZYKWA / WHOLESALE / LIQUOR DEALER / SPRINGFIELD, / SHAMOKIN, PA." The other impressed "E" on reverse base, and featuring the advertising "THE / CALIFORNIA WINE HOUSE / H.T. DREWES. / No. 98 MONTICELLO AVE., J.C.," with "J.C." likely referring to Jersey City, New Jersey. Shamokin jug with numerous small chips to shoulder as well as a 1 1/4" shoulder flake, along with a tiny spout nick or stone ping, and a 3/8" line on top of spout. J.C. jug has chipping to shoulder. H (of Shamokin jug) 9 1/4".
