Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crocks, New York State origin, circa 1860-1885, a two-gallon crock with slip-trailed cobalt floral decoration, stamped "GEDDES NY," and a two-gallon crock with cobalt bird-on-leaf decoration. Geddes crock with 6 1/2" crack from rim on reverse and a 1 1/8" hairline in rim. Bird crock with fry to decoration, rim chips, handle chips, some pitting to surface, and 8 3/4" and 1 3/4" cracks from rim. H (of Geddes crock) 9 1/4".
