Stoneware Spittoon with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875, with concave wall, tooled foot, and carved oval opening at shoulder, decorated around with six brushed cobalt clovers and brushwork around the opening. Excellent condition with a small base chip, a small glazed-over base chip, and a small chip to inner edge of opening at shoulder. H 3 1/2" ; Diameter 7 3/4".
