Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "RIEDINGER & CAIRE / POUGHKEEPSIE NY," circa 1860, cylindrical jar with sloping shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated with a two-stemmed flowering plant design. In-the-firing touch marks on front with piece of kiln furniture attached to surface. Small chips on interior of rim. H 14".
