Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Freehand Cobalt Decoration, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, cobalt-decorated with Hamilton and Jones stenciling including flourishes and a rising sun at the center. Shoulder and base decorated with freehand cobalt stripes and a script cobalt "2" with dashes. Mint condition. H 11 1/2".
