One-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "A. CONRAD / NEW GENEVA / PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim, decorated with a large stenciled flourish at the shoulder and flourishes surrounding "A. CONRAD / NEW GENEVA / PA" stenciling. Desirable size and good color. Near mint condition with some small chips to reverse and some in-the-making scratches to the clay surface while it was still wet. H 10 1/8".
