Two-Gallon Wheeling, WV Stoneware Druggist's Jug, Western PA origin, circa 1875, semi-ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and spout, decorated with brushed freehand cobalt swags, and a "2" with dashes underscored by a stripe at base. Stenciled in cobalt "HOUSTON & DINGELL. / WHOLESALE DEALERS / IN / DRUGS. / NO. 13?6 MAIN STREET / WHEELING. W. VA." Cracks extending from shoulder on right side of jug. H 14 1/4".
