Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Stenciled Cobalt Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1875, straight-sided crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a stenciled design of a wreath surrounding a six-point star. 4 1/2" hairline crack from rim on front. Two chips on interior of rim. Sticky residue on exterior. H 9 1/4".
