Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Star Decoration, Stamped "ADAM CAIRE / PO'KEEPSIE, NY," circa 1885, straight-sided crock with applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of a six-pointed star. 8 1/4" crack from rim on front. H 10 1/4".
