Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "F.T. WRIGHT & SON / TAUNTON, MASS.," circa 1875, decorated with a thickly slip-trailed design of a long-tailed bird perched on a stylized branch. As-made condition with two in-the-firing vertical separations at base on reverse, measuring approximately 1" and 1 1/4" each. H 14".
