Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird and Floral Decorations, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1875, straight-sided crock with applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed flying bird and flower designs, accented with numerous cobalt dots. Includes antique wooden lid. 6 1/2" and 2 1/2" cracks from rim on reverse. Flaking at base on right side of front of crock, extending around to base area on reverse of crock. Chips to rim and 1" crack to rim. Light wear to one handle. Heavy flaking to Albany slip on interior. 3" loss to wooden lid. H 10 1/4".
