One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1830, ovoid pitcher with tooled foot and elaborate tooling below collar. Decorated around the midsection with a series of three brushed cobalt tulips. Collar heavily-decorated with cobalt dashes on the sides, swags and dashes along the spout, and a thick cobalt stripe below the rim. Restored handle, top of spout, and 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" x 1/2" sections of rim. Two hairlines from rim, measuring 4" and 2". Two base chips. H 10 1/4".
