Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840, straight-sided jar with rounded shoulder and squared rim, decorated with brushed cobalt swags around the shoulder. Y-shaped hairline on underside, extending onto base area of jar in three places. Base chip. H 9".
