Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared wax sealer rim, featuring a stenciled rose motif surrounded by Hamilton & Jones maker's stenciling, together with a cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, brush-decorated with four stripes. Both jars with minor imperfections including small rim chips and firing flaws. H (of tallest) 8 3/8".
