One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "FRANK B. NORTON / WORCESTER MASS," circa 1858-1877, ovoid pitcher with tooled midsection and tall collar with pronounced rim, decorated with a stylized slip-trailed design of a circular flower surrounded by spots and flanked by leafy stems, the upper stem including a dotted trail. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a clay adhesion (contact mark) to reverse. H 10 1/4".
