Rare Albany-Slip-Dipped Stoneware Canning Jar, Stamped "T J SUTTLE," Perryopolis, PA, circa 1865, cylindrical, tapering jar with raised interior canning rim and Albany-slip-coated upper body, the entire surface covered in a salt glaze. Small rim chips. Two chips to inner rim for lid. An in-the-firing ping near shoulder. Some small in-the-firing contact marks to surface. H 9".
