Three Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, two cylindrical jars with brushed swag and foliate motifs, together with an ovoid jar with swag decoration. Smaller cylindrical jar with a large in-the-firing contact mark with salt residue on one side and a small in-the-firing contact mark with salt residue to opposite side. Larger cylindrical jar with two rim chips, a base chip and minor base nick, some fry to cobalt, and an in-the-firing surface chip to midsection. Ovoid jar with rim and base chips, the largest base chip being glazed over. H (of shortest) 6 1/8".
