Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug with Boston, MA Advertising, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jug with slightly-flared spout, featuring the diagonally slip-trailed advertising, "J.H. Costello & Co / Boston." A 5/8" chip and minor nick to spout. A minor base nick. Some traces of water glass staining to surface. A 7/8" iron ping to underside. H 14 1/4".
