Blue-Glazed Stoneware Figure of a Double-Headed Rooster, Signed "Edwin Meaders," Cleveland, GA origin, circa 1990, wheel-thrown and hand-modeled figure of a rooster with frontward and backward facing heads and saw-toothed details to combs and tail, the surface covered in a blue glaze. Underside with incised "Edwin Meaders" signature and partially illegible date. Provenance: Carl and Marian Mullis Collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some bubbling to glaze. H 16 1/2".
