One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WM. MOYER.," Harrisburg, PA origin, circa 1858-1861, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, brush-decorated with a large tulip motif on the front. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals. Excellent condition with two in-the-firing unglazed spots to base and small chips to inner rim for lid. H 9 3/8".
