Scarce Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Decoration of a Man's Bust, OH origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, brush-decorated with a stylized rendering of a man's bust in profile, below a script "2" flanked by dashes. Very nice condition with a shallow in-the-firing stacker mark to top of spout, small flecks of old white paint to upper body, and some hairlines in underside, probably in-the-firing. H 13 1/2".
