Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840, ovoid pitcher with footed base, brush-decorated with a swag-and-hanging-flower motif around the midsection along with swags flanking the spout and descending from the rim. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Handle broken into three pieces and reglued. A chip where spout meets rim. A long, thin crack on underside, forming a large Y on side of pitcher. H 9".
