Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, a one-quart cylindrical jar, brush-decorated with four foliate motifs around the body, paired with a lid with swag decoration. Jar in very nice condition with two small, adjacent rim chips. Lid with a 2" chip to edge, primarily visible on underside, and small chips to flange on underside. H (of jar) 7" ; Diam. (of lid) 10 3/4".
